White Chili

{Julie's White Chili}

2-3 chicken breasts
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 cloves minced garlic
2 cans Great Northern Beans, drained
2 cups chicken broth
2 cand green chilies
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cumin
1 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
1 cup sour cream
1 cup shredded Colby jack cheese
4oz cream cheese

I just throw everything (except the sour cream, Colby jack cheese and cream cheese) into the crock-pot in the morning. I cook it on low all day. I use frozen chicken, but you could use fresh as well. When the chicken is done, I cut it up with my kitchen shears. When ready to serve, turn crock-pot off, or to warm, and add sour cream, Colby jack cheese, and cream cheese. I serve mine with Frito or tortilla chips, cilantro, chopped olives, tomatoes, avocado, and shredded cheese. You can make it as simple or as extravagant as you'd like. Enjoy with some cornbread!

Justin's Yummy Steak Sandwich!

I usually HATE steak, but when I'm pregnant for some reason I kinda like it. Justin was making this the other day and it smelled SO GOOD that I decided to join in and help him make it, so I could partake and not feel guilty;)
Let me just tell you.....SO GOOD!!
OK so this is what you will need:
-1 Onion minced
- about 1/2 cup green onions minced
-a dash of ranch seasoning
- a dash of garlic powder (or fresh garlic)
- salt and pepper
- olive oil
Saute till the onions are tender and smelling fabulous =0D
-Asiago Cheese bread
-pepper jack cheese
-steaks
Grill your steak and cut it in thin strips
put it on your Asiago Cheese bread and layer some Pepper Jack on that baby. Bake it in the oven until the cheese is melted.
Now for the special sauce
Justin makes this, so I asked him how much of each sauce he adds to make it, he just said uhhhh.... I don't know.
SO ummm.... If I were to make it I would add around a 1/2 cup sour cream and just add a little A1 and Sweet Baby Ray's dipping sauce until you like it.
Yeah sorry that's clear as mud =/.

I got pictures of everything except the actual sandwich...lame. This is a random one from online, you get it right?

{another recipe I don't want to forget. This is Jodi, my sister-in-laws!}

Easy Chicken Salad Sandwiches

4 cups cubed, cooked chicken

1/3 cup green pepper, chopped finely
1/4 cup onion, chopped finely
1 cup celery, chopped
1 cup mayonnaise ( do not substitute)
1/4 cup cream, whipped
1 tsp. chicken Bouillon
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp pepper

Mix everything together and put in crescents.
